Man, it has gotten cold in Oxford. Temps in the teens with a chance of some sleet mixed with rain over the next 24 hours. Be safe!

Here are some figures for you to ponder. For the last 12 months (2-6-11 through 2-6-12) the ABSORPTION RATE for single family residential properties was 11.77. For the last 6 months the AR was 13.45. For the last 3 months the AR was 15.29.

For condominiums the AR for the last 12 months was 12.19. For the last 6 months the AR was 14.34 and the AR was 23.61 for the last 3 months.

1/29/2012 New Year's Resolution!

One of the things I want to do more of this year is to give folks who love Oxford and Ole Miss more information as to what is going on in and around town. For instance, although we're in the thick of basketball season, beautiful weather and late January means 1 thing --- Baseball Season! 5/18/2010 The Times They Are A Changin!

Just returned from "Best Fest" in New Orleans. Went down with the top agents in our office and learned from top RE/MAX Agents from across the country. This is a great time to be an agent in the RE/MAX system. I've been in the real estate business for over a decade but things are changing faster than ever and I'm doing my best to change with it. The internet has really changed what is going on in our business and I'm excited to see how I can change with it. Hope you'll join me!

1/5/2010 Moving On in 2010

Well, football season ended on a positive note after all. The state game was definitely a downer but winning the Cotton Bowl for the second consecutive year did help remove some of the bad taste in our mouths. Now we're getting ready for a bit of snow and some unbelievably cold temps. I guess even way down south in Mississippi we have to have some winter. To tell you the truth I wouldn't mind seeing 5 or 6 inches - it's been a couple of years since we've had any. I'll let you know how it goes - wish me luck!
